This light features a CREE XM-L2 U3 LED that can produce a stunning 380 Lumens in turbo mode! On top of that, a rechargeable 16340 battery can be charged directly inside the light using USB power from a wall outlet or computer.

The main attraction of the C13R is the incredibly small amount of space that it takes up. Measuring just 78 millimeters in length, it can fit in just about any pocket and makes a great lightweight addition to emergency supplies or bug-out bags. This product is truly another of Sunwaymans greatest flashlights just like 98% of them, that I can speak for from hands on experience. This is another great and flawless design, function, quality, and just ALL of its reliability its too sad to see this product not being made anymore because honestly everybody in the world should have one of these.

This unusual little light really hit the target for me! Its qualities are an unusual combination of small size and long distance throw, the result of combining a relatively large reflector with a short, but high-current cell. I'm referring to the 18350, which is briefly referred to near the bottom of the product details. Of course it also can use a 16340, a more common cell but of much less output, by using a tube-like adapter. The short, fat shape fits in my pocket well, and also in the palm of my hand. Excellent beam focus and light dispersion.

The only problem is, none of my 18350's would make contact to the terminals inside the flashlight. I fixed this by making an conductive gasket out of copper wire. Not hard for me, but some users may not figure it out.

As with other Sunwayman lights I've tried, this one has some unique and valuable features, excellent build quality - but some quirks that not everyone would be able to resolve. Otherwise, I would have given it a five-star rating.

C13R ; Can't wait for the "full size" model !

When this light is sold as a " 2-cell " , I will be ordering that one as well. My Sunwayman lights have never let me down. Can't tell you right now how many I have in my collection. They need to build this light so that it will take either an 18650 or 2-CR123's. Maybe call it C23R ? Don't get me wrong, I do like what they have put together in this one. Side switch is the way to go. I walk a dog at night so the side switch is a definite plus. The levels are perfectly spread out and the beam is super awesome. Ultralow is there in a heartbeat if you need it maybe because you don't want to step on the dog and also don't want to be waking family members because the light was in turbo mode ! Back to walking the dog. The reflector does a great job of distributing the lumens coming out of that LED. The length of the flashlight was what became an issue. I ended up (if you can believe it) adding onto the end of the light with a rubber foot and a 1/4-20 screw to add about 5/8" to the length of the light and it works out to be perfect. Do like to customize my lights. I have been using battery powered " illumination tools " since the 70's. We've come a long way to say the least. Worth adding to ur collection ? Hell yeah ! Tell them that Steve sent you.
