SureFire Helmet Light- 3V

The SureFire HL1-A is a compact Helmet Light that features three white LEDs, two blue secondary LEDs and one blinking infrared LED that serves as a personal Identity Friend or Foe (IFF) beacon. Each colored LED comes in handy for different reasons. The white primary LEDs are perfect for general-purpose and close-work illumination. The blue secondary LEDs serve the same purpose but in more of a low-signature, night-vision-friendly color. SureFire Helmet Lights originally were designed for military and SWAT applications, but are also an option for climbing, carving, construction or search and rescue operations. The SureFire HL1-A is perfect for night navigation and close-quarter work like reading maps, loading gear or repairing equipment in the field. It is equipped with two toggle switches and a pressure switch for total control. A single CR123A battery keeps your Helmet Light running for a very long-time.

This durable Helmet Light features a watertight polymer body available in Black or Desert Tan. The only difference besides the colors of the these lights are the way they attach to the helmets. The black models attach via a low-profile mount (included) that clamps to the rim of any Modular Integrated Communications Helmet (MICH) by two socket-head machine screws. The tan models attach to the same helmets with an included ambidextrous mount that has 20 preset positions and allows the light to be rotated 360 degrees. The Helmet Light can be easily slid on and locked securely in place once either mount has been attached to the helmet. You can simply unlock the light by pressing a lever on the mount, which allows for quick removal for servicing. All in all the SureFire HL1-A Helmet Light is both durable, reliable and comes in handy when you need it most.
