Retractable Flint Sparking Rod
The UST BlastMatch Fire Starter is a tool with a flint rod that emits a shower of sparks when pressed in and released. An oxidized layer on the rod prevents accidental flint sparking and preserves the surface from scratches for future use. Sparks shoot out in the aimed direction for fire-starting safety, and the BlastMatch will spark when wet, even working in rain conditions. The flint rod can be internally retracted and capped for a smaller size in transport.
