Hi everyone , just wanted to tell you all about this little gem ! As others have said , this is the most perfect, strongest , secure case I have ever found for my 18650 batteries. And yes I have tested it ( under water , submerge test ) with tissue paper on the inside to see if any leaks , and to my surprise , None ! Tissue stayed bone dry ! And of course you can keep 2 cr123's in this as well. I usually put a little tissue in there for those , so they don't rattle around. And here is another use for these THAT may seem completely ridiculous , but works awesome. I can fit about 3 bullion cubes in there , beef , chicken it don't matter. They stay bone dry , and the best thing is ( They Don't Stink up YOUR pack ! ) Trust me, in a survival situation , and even in cold damp situations boiling some water and adding a little beef bouillon , can be a game changer ! And here's YET another use for these cases.. They make an exceptional tinder carrier. I have some with Vaseline and cotton balls , and some with cat tail fluff packed inside. All stay bone dry! O yeah , and you can use them for matches ! Duh. But to rap it up , I can seldom if ever get so excited about something that cost about a dollar , and yet have so many uses! That , my friends is a complete rarity nowadays! Just buy some! Please trust me on this one.

I use these to carry extra 18650 batteries for all the lights I have. Protected 18650s fit in these without any problem. Not sure yet how waterproof these are - I'll test them soon. Nonetheless they should be very water resistant at a minimum.
