• Press the metal disc button within the hand-warmer until it clicks, or activates, and causes the liquid to crystallize.
• Massage and knead the hand warmer until the liquid is completely crystallized.
• Place the hand-warmer in desired location (if possible wrap the hand warmer in some sort or towel or material to help insulate the heat and provide a longer period of heating).
• Recharging:
  • Boil a pot of water, then lower temperature to a slow simmer
  • Gently place the hand-warmer in the simmering water
  • Keep the hand-warmer in the boiling water until the crystals dissolve and the liquid inside the hand warmer turns completely clear (this should take approximately 15 minutes)
  • Gently remove the hand-warmer from the water and allow to cool before using again (if the hand-warmer begins to re-crystallize then place it back in the simmering water until the liquid is completely clear)
