The Wagan Tech Twin USB/DC adapter easily fits into your car's cup holder to power your satellite radio, iPhone™, or tablet. The 2537 adapter features two USB port and two DC outlets. The 2537-5 model features two 2.1 Amp** USB ports and two DC outlets. If you are out camping and using your car to power or charge multiple 12V and/or USB devices, the battery level indicator lets you know when you need to start thinking about running the car for a while so that you are not left with a dead battery.

Great addition for Connectivity

I'd like to leave the charger plugged in at all times, but only charge devices when the car is being driven. Any issues if I do this?

Yes, that can be done because the cup holder adapter will not be running when the car is off. When the car is being driven is when the adapter will be running.

While the cup holder adapter will provide power to your mp3 device, you will need an auxiliary cord to plug into your head unit.
