Keep your food hot or cold anywhere you go with this portable fridge/ warmer. Designed for easy access while commuting, the Wagan 6 Liter Personal Fridge/Warmer conveniently plugs into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket and sits beside you as an armrest. Using space age technology and superior foam insulation, it cools down as low as 34°F and at a flip of the switch it can heat up to 140°F. It has a leather armrest and adjustable shoulder strap for comfort and 2 cup holders at the front for convienence. It's great for use while commuting, traveling, boating, camping, tailgating, and picnicing, and the optional AC adapter can even be used for home, office, and dorm use.

Note: The fridge will continue to operate as long as power is supplied.

Better than I expected

I needed a DC cooler for my car since I spend a lot of time driving and summer is coming. The prices for car coolers was around $100 . I saw this and thought I'd give it a try since the price was very reasonable. I'm glad I did! The construction is better than I expected and it has kept my beverages cold, as advertised.

I have not tried the heat setting but I feel this is a very good value for the money and it fits on the floor behind the front passenger seat. It also has a nice, padded top for picnic use as a cooler. I am very impressed and that is hard to do. 5 stars for this product.

Cooler/warmer: What I expected.

The Wagan 6L cooler/warmer arrived as promised and met my expectations. I also bought the AC/DC adaptor.
Pros
  • The size is just right for use in my car when traveling and in need of a COOL beverage. I emphasize the term cool, as in my test, the unit did not get below 47deg. F in my car.
Cons
  • Minor downside is that it is noisier that one would expect from such a small appliance. The shipping cost was higher than the average from other online sites I have used. My total order was over $50, but I did not get free shipping!! Check that before confirming any order you submit.

It was June and my wife had just finished a batch of her famous egg salad, featuring her secret ingredient that she still hasn’t told me. We live in Arizona, so not only is it hot as a Mercedes just stolen from a valet, but it is sooooooooooooo spread out. The party was an hour away and the AC in the car just wouldn’t keep it cool enough. By the time we would get to the party, the egg salad would be walking on its own. But not this time; we just shoved it in our Wagan 2260 – TAKE THAT EVIL BACTERIA AND GERMS! Oh, is it cold? Too cold for you to ruin her egg salad? Severs you right!

We arrived at the party and the salad was well received. When it comes to bringing egg salad to a party, this fridge makes the difference between it being a big hit or pile of sh**!
