WISH THE TEST CONTACTS WERE NEGATIVE. BATTERY WOULD FACE UP BETTER.

The mini multi-tester is a handy unit for checking batteries that are used in items like trail cameras where you have up to a dozen batteries and one battery goes bad.

Pros

Quick and easy testing of batteries.

Cons

More than triple the price of a dozen good AA rechargeable batteries.

I have one of these and have used it for years and I bought another as a gift this year. It is great to have around to make sure my flashlights in the go bag and my vehicle are always with a good charge.

Want to know exactly where you stand?

I love this tester. My old tester would move the needle somewhere in the green and I thought I was good to go. Not so, it may have been green, but barely (50% -) and would not last the day out. I have a metal detector and rely on good batteries to get the job done. Now, I can see exactly (%) where I stand before the hunt with this ZTS Mini.

THIS IS A GREAT LITTLE MACHINE & IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. I OWN A BURGLAR ALARM COMPANY AND I TEST HUNDREDS OF SMALL BATTERIES A YEAR. (EVERY DOOR & WINDOW ALARM TRANSMITTER HAS A BATTERY!) SUPER FAST TEST TAKES ABOUT 3 SECONDS. AM BUYING A 2ND TESTER AND AN ADDITIONAL BIG TESTER THAT DOES 30 TESTS ON ALL TYPES OF OTHER UNUSUAL SMALL BATTERIES (LIKE THE COIN BATTERIES USED IN SMALL REMOTE CONTROLS).

I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY THAT EVEN A GOOD DIGITAL VOLTMETER DOES NOT ACCURATELY DESCRIBE THE AMOUNT OF POWER ACTUALLY LEFT IN A BATTERY. THE ONLY SMALL NEGATIVE COMMENT IS THAT THE TESTER DOES EAT ABOUT 4/100 OF A VOLT FROM A BATTERY EVERY TIME YOU TEST IT,SO DON'T GET CARRIED AWAY!
