"The activation button is unreasonably difficult to depress and click for constant on. Momentary on is fine, but the one I received takes a tremendous amount of force to depress to click on. The body is quite slick which makes holding the flashlight firmly and turning on with the same hand pretty rough. Maybe mine was a lemon. It is the only flashlight I have felt like throwing in the trash."
"I’ve carried a few 2AAA Streamlights clipped in my pocket for years, I’ve worked them all to death. Always reliable. Tough as nails. This version has a bigger head on it than the previous ones. That does make it considerably harder to remove and properly return to my pocket. Doesn’t seem like a big deal until you habitually reach for it after years, and you can’t grab it properly or restore it properly. So far, the beam seems brighter, quality seems just as good, I just wished the body was as smooth as the earlier ones."

"I have had this light for about 2 years. I carry it every day, all day. High setting lets me see well at night. Low setting lets me read in my vehicle after dark without blinding me. Only on my third set of batteries. This is the best combination of small size, great ergonomics, usable light levels, reliability, moderate weight that I have found yet. The finish has even held up very well. Hope that you will enjoy yours as much as I do mine."
