Minolta Camera fix.
"I have an old Minolta SRT101 that has a meter made to use the 1. 35V mercury battery that is no longer available. I read that a guy had put one of these (303/357) in the camera, and that it was able to power the meter, and has a better discharge curve than 1. 5V alkaline batteries that are available. My meter may not be as accurate with the new battery, but I have a Gossen Lunapro SBC meter that uses the standard 9V alkaline which will give a correct reading."

"Terrific long-lasting batteries as they should be; however, ordered online because price was SO UCH LOWER than store offerings. Will use Battery Junction again, if not always! Kudos."
Long life, steady voltage and low cost
"The Duracell's provide a long life and steady voltage to run the dozen or more micrometers, calipers and dial indicators I have. The generic and no name batteries don't measure up. I get twice the life out of the Duracell's. The low cost by using Battery Junction to supply my batteries saves money compared to local vendors. I now purchase all my batteries from them. Precision measuring tools should always have the highest quality batteries to get the best dependable performance."
Economical Silver Oxide Cells for those Key Chain Lights
"Battery Junction offers these Duracell 357/SR44 Silver Oxide cells at a reasonable price for a 3 pack. Ok, the Dollar Store offers 4 LR44 cells for a buck. Why pay more? For travel my wife and I have Pelican's L1 1930C LED lanyard lights for getting around in the darkened hotel room at night to find the bathroom or check the time, etc. I also have StreamLight's Key-Mate lights clipped into those sewn-in lanyards you find in carry-on's and laptop cases to help find stuff. These come with LR44's, which, being Alkaline, are prone to some leakage and contact problems. Better to use long shelf and standby life Silver Oxide cells instead to insure these work when you need them. The Silver Oxide provides flatter discharge, higher capacity, longer shelf life than Alkaline equivalents. Worth the perhaps 30-50% premium to me."
