"Has great light beam with no spots or borders. I've abused this light winter backpacking, shooting, and EDC. After using it for an extended period; my only complaint is I wish the thumb button behind the bezel had grip/grooves or at least the recess was more pronounced. I have trouble finding it by touch. But it's a small complaint to an overall perfect light."

"I just got the TK22 today, from Battery Junction, and used it on my bike, on my way back from office, at night. It's a nice flashlight and works fine with Panasonic 18650B. It's bright, and compared with the PD35, it has a slightly narrower beam, but a good throw."
"Very bright, wider more diffused hot spot at long distances than other lights in its class, due to shallower, matte finished reflector but still great throw. It has a symmetrical, round, clean beam when observing the spot-on-the-wall at a meters distance indicative of a well-designed reflector and precise mounting of the LED. Multiple modes make it a good task / work light. Good run times close to manufactures specifications. I've owned a Fenix TK15 for about six years and it has worked flawlessly. The TK22 exhibits all the same qualities my older, TK15."
"I wanted a light with a mode button on the side, and a on/off on the tail, this fits the bill. I've used all the settings and the design of the reflector works well. I also use the rechargable battery with this, and again great value, can use over and over just by charging the battery. great design, feels good in your hand, good balance, just a well designed light. One of my first fenix lights, and I'll purchase again."
"Very good construction. I really enjoy that the light stays on the mode that you last had it on, without having to toggle through the tail switch to get to the setting that you want. I enjoy having the mode setting in a different spot (near the head) and use the tail switch to just turn the light on and off. Love the four different light settings on the flashlight. The turbo mode is extremely powerful, like a small handheld spotlight,. Even the low setting is nice to look at maps and in close quarters."
"I purchased a 2014 Edition TK22 as an upgrade for an older Fenix TK11. Boy is this an amazing flashlight for the money. The footprint is not much bigger/longer than the TK11 but this is a far superior light. Great throw, super bright (even on the 3rd highest setting where I usually keep it), great color & even has 2 strobe modes. It has super solid construction like all Fenix flashlights so I know can take some abuse and keep on shining bright. Can be used with CR123A x 2 or 18650 x 1 Batteries. I originally purchased 2 of these flashlights, one for my wife's vehicle & one for home use. I liked them so much I purchased a 3rd on Black Friday. You cannot go wrong with the Fenix 2014 Edition TK22!!!"
"Exactly what I need: a very bright light with multiple modes yielding long run time. Ability to use 18650 battery a definite plus. The color temperature is just what I like, a coolish white, which gives very good color rendering. The big reflector gives excellent throw with 275 yards on Turbo. I very much like the separate mode switch on the body. My two wishes are that it had a a low-charge indicator and a better lock out (longer threading) on tail cap. It still locks out but gets loose at lockout."
"I compared the Fenix TK22 920 lumens to the Nitecore P16 960 lumens. The Fenix outshines and out floods the Nitecore. As far as beam throw, both are identical. I like the Fenix side switch, it's much easier & quicker. Oh I forgot to mention, the Nitecore tail switch is made of plastic."
