Calling the Fenix UC01 compact is an understatement. This keychain light is about the size of your thumb, and is brighter than most incandescent bulb flashlights. This handy flashlight features three output levels, and the brightest setting will cast 45 lumens across a wide swath. The angle of the beam (also known as "spill") is a wide 102°, meaning you only need to point the UC01 in the general direction you're looking. It casts nice, smooth, even lighting from end to end. This is the perfect pocket light if you often find yourself fumbling around for keyholes in the dark, illuminating dim corridors, or avoiding obstacles during your dog's nighttime bathroom break.
One Plug to Rule Them All
The UC01 recharges using a standard micro USB connector (sold separately), so you no longer have to worry about swapping batteries. The connector is the same size as most smartphone plugs, so you can't throw a rock without hitting a cable that can recharge this little guy. You'll never be surprised by a dead battery, either, since the onboard battery indicator lets you check your power level anytime. One click on the power button activates the readout, which lights up green for a highly charged battery, red for "poor" levels (50% or less), and flashing red for "critical" (20% or less). And at 2 hours for a full recharge, you'll be back in action in no time.

With a waterproof rating of IPX-6, the UC01 is actually designed to travel with you through the rain and fog. Go ahead and take it outside! Dropped it? No big deal. It's impact resistant up to 1 meter, which is one of the perks of having barely any moving parts. Three different output levels allow you to select the brightness that best suits your needs. Low powers are perfect for dimly-lit settings, while the full blast of high mode is great for the outdoors at night. The integrated memory circuit remembers which setting you last used, so turning it off and on again will resume right where you left off. No more blinding surprises! Keychain included.
