"This is my second X9r. I bought the 'Limit Edition' blue anodized one this time. The light is very bright on Turbo. It also has very good run times at lower brightness settings, which are still plenty bright. It is a bit heavy, but it comes with a shoulder strap to make it easier to use for extended times. The carry case is very good quality and it allows one to have all accessories close at hand. I highly recommend this light!"
"The X9R is the brightest hand held light I have ever seen. It is a little larger in diameter than the earlier Olight search lights of this type, and a little bit heavier but the capability of the light is worth it. It has about 9 levels of output and a great battery capacity display. There is nothing quite like it on the market. I rated it 4 stars because of it's weight. A person would almost have to use the included sling if carried for any length of time."
"The olight x9r is an amazing light. It absolutely illuminates everything in front of you whether near or far. The further you need to see the higher up the output levels youll have to go. That being said you'll spend most of the time on the 6000 lumen setting. Which isnt a bad thing as 6000 lumens is more than enough light for anything youd be doing up to medium and a bit into longer distances. The 12000 and 25000 lumens are only great for spotting due their short run times. But these top 2 output levels are truly a view into the future of portable lighting. Unless youre from a specialized field of work the 25000 lumen setting is unlike anything youve ever seen. I have a light fixture in my living room running 2 100watt light bulbs and on its highest setting the x9r illuminates the room many times brighter just by aiming it at the ceiling. The downside is the short run times but hopefully with better technology 25000 lumens will be the standard much like 1000 lumens was once a far fetched dream a decade ago but is now the standard for 2cr123 sized lights today."
