NiCd
Rechargeable nickel-based button and coin cell batteries provide compact, low-voltage power for small electronics and devices where space is limited. They are commonly used in backup memory modules, calculators, medical devices, and other low-drain applications that benefit from rechargeability.
NiMH cells typically provide a nominal voltage of 1.2V with good capacity and long cycle life, making them ideal for repeated use without memory effect. NiCd cells also offer 1.2V and are highly durable, capable of withstanding frequent charging and discharging, though they have slightly lower energy density compared to NiMH.
These rechargeable coin cells are an excellent choice when you need consistent, long-lasting power in a small form factor, reducing waste and providing convenience for devices that are used regularly.
