Better than bulky household lights

"I used to keep bulky D-cell flashlights around the house, but those are never very bright and it's hard to keep the batteries stocked. This light is so much lighter and brighter, plus I can charge it like a cell phone during the day or pop in a AA battery during a power outage. What's not to like?"

I'm a bit disappointed with this Fitorch product. . .

"I have been a long-time customer of BatteryJunction. Com, and I own other Fitorch lights, and have been satisfied with their build and switch quality . . . Unfortunately, that's not the case with this 'EC10' (CREE XP-L LED) 700 lumens. I feel the switch is poorly made: * Switching modes (High-Med-Low-Strobe-SOS) is more of a chore, than a breeze * The switch has a cheap feel * At this juncture, I'm not sure if I will purchase more Fitorch products in the future. * I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this model of flashlight to others. Brightness is adequate. I can deal with poor packaging. I can deal with an instruction manual written by someone who isn't fluent in English. I just cannot get-over this cheap tailcap switch issue. If it weren't such a hassle, I'd send this light back to BatteryJunction. Com/ Thank you for letting me share."

Very good quality

"This is a well made high quality light with amazing output and a very clean flood type dispersed beam it compares to larger 18650 lights in brightness. Well worth the price another excellent product from Fitorch."

Great light. Difficult U. I.

"The pros: good brightness, I've seen and own much brighter, even for the size, good mode separation, good grip, looks nice, good button. There are three serious addressable cons. 1: although AAs work, they are unreliable and difficult to use. Sometimes you get a selected brightness, sometimes the batter AA gets you just this minimal mode, even when it is fresh. Rechargeable NiMH batteries always go to the lower setting unless topped off. Con 2; the light has a crazy U. I. although it is nice you may cycle through each mode and have memory for any one mode you want, there are no shortcuts. This means you must cycle through all levels to get to a desired output that isnt what you left it on. For instance, if you are on medium but want maximum you must go to low before you get it. THE WORST PART IS: YOU MUST PASS THROUGH STROBE AND SOS TI GET TO OTHER MODES. thus if you are on low and require max, you have to strobe yourself first before you get turbo. Turbo gets very hot but the trade off is you get a long use of turbo mode. You can indeed get instant strobe or turbo or low mode if you such want this ability. If you really want a flashlight that always comes on in one of these particular modes, it's easy to set it up that way and that's nice. The cute holster is good quality. The anti reflective coating is good quality. The battery is a good but very long cell because of the charging. The lanyard is nice. Overall the flashlight is very nice quality. It gets 4 stars from a nice quality and seems good longevity. Loses the star from poor U I. And lacking AA full functionality. At least it always turns on with AA batteries. Don't by this to only use AAs, brighter more functional AA lights exist."
