"I did not expect the broad beam. It really lights up the world but not as far as narrower beam would have gone. It is super bright and I had problems with the side mounted switch. It locked and it took a while to figure out how to unlock it. It works though however if I had a chance to try it before purchase, I would not have selected this flashlight."
"This is a very good light overall. . . . . great battery life, decent range, nice size. My major issue is the side mounted on/off switch. This switch is sensitive to the point that having placed the light into its holster, the light turned on when the holster was bumped at the switch location. I would not trust this light in one's pocket or any other place where it could be jostled."

"Overall this flashlight is amazing! I really enjoy night time hiking, so all of the brightness modes are super helpful, it lasts a really long time, and I had no issues using it in the rain. I really appreciate that it's rechargeable, I was getting tired of having to replace the batteries in my old flashlight. The lock function is also really nice considering how often I move around."
