"This is identical to what I have in my baton 3. I use this carry light it seems like every day and also to take the dog at night. I see they also make a 650 mah for the baton 4 but I didn’t see it in time when I ordered this. In the end since I have two of these lights and the wireless charger I don’t find it dead much at all."

"Very good product but wanted more to keep Olight functional well into the future if they stop making this specialized battery. Battery Junction had it in stock, was less expensive, shipped next day. Amazon and Olight store were both back ordered on this battery which is required for the S1R Baton II and III if you want a rechargeable. 5 stars!"
Good to have a spare
"This battery is used in Olight's rechargeable models, S1R Baton II and Baton 3, which require the use of this cell. I preferred their S1 Baton, which had a similarly strong magnetic base, but could use the long shelf life, higher capacity CR123 primary Lithium and more standard 16340 Lithium Ion rechargeable cells. This cell is a proprietary mechanical variant that might not work in other brand lights that take 16340's. It is a shame that the S1R Baton II is no longer offered, since it is a much more versatile design, especially for uses such as glovebox emergency light and bug out bag lights as well as EDC light. Given that the S1R II and Baton 3 require this proprietary battery, I decided to get spares."

"Baton 3 will ONLY use this battery, which is a little bit of a shame, but these are cheap so I have purchased 2 extra ones and I'll cycle through them to keep them all equalized and in good shape."
Proprietary Battery For The Ages
"Olight has designed a line of batteries to rival them all with this little powerhouse. This 2 watt hour delivers reliable performance over many other batteries in their size range, like the CR123A line which usually only packs 200-300mAh. The IMR16340 packs a whopping 550mAh into a similar form factor. However, it is a proprietary battery designed for the Olight S1RBatonII, so you must use this battery. Olight did it right though! A very impressive cell that performs much better than others in their size range."

- my new battery from B J doesnt work in my s1r baton 2 olight ,but my old one does . when i put the new battery on my disc chargher it works , when its off it doesnt work ?
- Good day, Tom - If you indeed have the S1R II then the battery you are referencing will work. If you have the Olight S2R (not the II) then this battery will not work. Please confirm which light you have. We do not see that you ordered the light from Battery Junction so we have no way to confirm.

- No, it will not. This is a proprietary battery specifically made for the Olight flashlights it is meant for. I do not see that the Acebeam uses any type of proprietary battery so would get a different 16340 such as the Jetbeam LR160 - or another brand.
