Protected Button Top 18650 Battery

The Panasonic NCR18650BD is a 3,180mAh high capacity li-ion battery with a 10A high-discharge rate. Along with the protected button top terminal, this battery is designed for a wide variety of demanding applications, such as flashlights with high-lumen turbo modes or industrial and medical devices.

NCR chemistry is similar to NMC, offering a long life span and a high energy density with greater stability with the added aluminum. With the added protection circuit board (PCB), the NCR18650BD features multiple safety features against overcharging and short circuits.

3 Year Shelf Life

Stock up and store spare batteries with confidence– lithium ion batteries have a 3+ year shelf life, ensuring you always have a fresh replacement when you need it.

PCB Protection

This battery has a PCB (protection circuit board) that automatically detects and protects against overcharging, overdischarging, and short circuiting.

High Discharge Rate

10A max continuous discharge rate for high-drain electronics, such as flashlights that require minimum discharge rates to enable their brightest modes.

The clear outer wrap is part of the battery assembly and must not be removed (it is not shipping packaging).
This product uses a genuine Panasonic NCR18650BD battery with a button top and PCB (protection circuit board) added by a battery pack manufacturer.
Because of this process, an additional outer wrap is applied over the original Panasonic wrap.
Note: New battery labeling regulations require listing minimum capacity on labels. Values may differ slightly from published or displayed specs, but performance has not changed.
