The Acebeam EC65 high CRI flashlight is a compact, handheld light that is equipped with four Nichia 90+ CRI LEDs. The color rendering index (CRI) is a measure of how accurately a light source illuminates an object's true colors. The Acebeam EC65 has a 90+ rating, which means that it displays more natural-looking colors, such as what one would see when using halogen or incandescent bulbs. LED flashlights with lower CRI ratings have a tendency to wash out colors, which delivers a pale presentation, thus eliminating important details. A high CRI flashlight, such as the Acebeam EC65, is therefore extremely useful when it comes to navigating through a dark campsite or even while cooking meat on an open fire. The more accurately the colors are represented, the better the visibility.

Rechargeable, 21700 Flashlight

The Acebeam EC65 flashlight is more than just a high CRI illumination tool. This handheld light runs on one 21700 Li-ion battery, which delivers unbelievable run times. In fact, the EC65 is capable of running for up to four days, when in its 20-lumen Ultra Low mode. That's a total of 96 hours. This single 21700 flashlight is just one example of the new wave in flashlight technology, where the battery delivers more power and longer run times, yet the size is only slightly larger. As an added bonus, the Acebeam EC65 flashlight is equipped with a Button Top 18650 battery adapter that enables users with the ability to power the light using the more commonly-known Button Top 18650 size, if desired. Please note that Turbo mode is not accessible when using a Button Top 18650. It is also important to note that the Button Top 18650 battery is not rechargeable within the light and must be removed to re-power. We recommend utilizing a Button Top 18650 battery only as an emergency backup power source. As already stated, the Acebeam EC65 is also rechargeable! Simply connect the included charging USB-C charging cable to the light and to another power source, such as a 12V USB adapter within your car, to recharge the battery in-between uses. As an added bonus, the USB-C port is three times faster than the more common micro USB.
