"I `m 76 years old and I been using batteries all my life and I won`t buy anything but Duracell batteries for my flashlights , cameras , radios , testing equipment , laser beams and so on . Since a friend of mine advised me to try a Duracell battery in my flashlight and discovered it lasted a lot longer than other brands . They are definitely a better quality battery and well worth the money ."

However, I did use several of the 9V batteries for my smoke and CO detectors, No problem with the length of the batteries and installation into the detectors was good. I was disappointing to find out that I didn't get free shipping as advertised. I was told that because of the weight of the size D batteries they had to charge me shipping. I don't remember seeing that exception in the advertisement."
