"I had one of these lights. It may have been an earlier version, but the one I had had the threads on a plastic tube and it just broke off. There was no way to fix it. They are also not that bright. Instead, try a Streamlight Micro Stream of the one or two AAA variety. They cost a little more, but are amazing good little lights."
