"Seeing for 8 yards when the electric power is off will definitely keep you from bumping into furniture at night. The one problem I see is the difficulty of screwing the head back on after replacing the D cell. It is somewhat tricky to get it screwed together without cross threading it. So this thing isn't for everybody."
