Poorly designed helmet mount

"This mount is functional, but has two major design flaws when used with a helmet: 1. When you fasten a helmet mount with zipties, they loop into the helmet, over to another vent, out of the helmet, and back to where they started. There's no room for the 'back where they started' part on this mount to fasten the zipties left to right, which means you have few choices in terms of front to back positioning of the mount. This would be fine, except. . . 2. . . . neither the mount nor the light pitch up and down, so you're stuck with whichever angle the surface of your helmet takes on at those few points you can attach it, and you also can't adjust it up and down as you're riding in an urban area, the way a car might turn their high beams on and off. I plan to replace it with the ALD-10 GoPro mount plus the GoPro Vented Helmet Strap; this can be positioned more flexibly, will allow me to pitch the light up and down as I'm riding, and as a bonus can be moved between helmets without snipping and replacing zipties. I'd strongly suggest you do the same."
