"Feels well constructed, solid design. The clamps are solid formed metal pieces no hinges or even welds. The light has to slide inside the clamps from the end as they don’t lift. When tightened down it feels very solid on the light and on the rail, it has no wiggle or give. It hold the light out directly even from the rail, creating very little profile raise unlike most other offset mounts that lift the light above if mounted on a top rail. Mounted from a top or bottom rail it places the light at the 3/9 o’clock position depending on left or right side. If that’s what you’re looking for then this is a solid mount to use."
