The Fenix HL50 combines a compact and lightweight design with sturdy construction. Weighing in at 2 ounces and measuring just over 2.5 inches, it is compact enough to travel, hike or hunt. This headlamp is so light that it can be held in place with a single strap, no top strap required! Built with durable aluminum and stainless steel and coated with type III hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish, this light is ready for any abuse you can throw at it. An IPX-8 waterproof rating ensures that this light is ready for outdoor adventure in rain or shine.Flexible Power Options
What the HL50 offers in dependability it matches in versatility. While primarily powered by a CR123A battery, the adjustable battery tube allows for the use of a AA cell. Having various options for power sources can be a lifesaver out in the wild! While the AA mode does have lower output, it can still put out a hefty 285 lumens. Using a CR123A, this headlamp can push a blinding 385 lumens in burst mode, sure to be enough to light your way through the dark.Ready for the Great Outdoors
The HL50 headlamp is prepped for adventure with powerful output and straightforward features that make it ideal for outdoor use. Unique to this light is its temporary high-output burst mode, which can be accessed by holding down the power switch. This provides a burst of light to illuminate any particularly dark spots on demand. The headlamp can also be removed from the strap, and used as a regular flashlight, allowing for additional light positioning options not possible with other headlamps.
