It has a red light function which is essential to prevent ocular strain, creating a better light output for up-close tasks such as map reading. With red flashing mode, have optimal signaling while trekking outdoors to keep you safe. Both white and red lighting modes are alternated by long pressing or double-clicking the side switch, creating an intuitive user experience.
90-Degree Work Light
With a 3.04-ounce design, this headlamp is constructed lightweight and unobtrusive. It's perfect for a late-night run! Best of all, it's easy to take this light out of the headband and use it as a 90-degree work light! Attach to a shirt pocket or backpack strap with the handy pocket clip and be on your way on a hike or at your job. Furthermore, it has a magnetic tailcap for more hands-free lighting options, such as doing maintenance under the hood of your car.
Battery Power
The HM23 V2.0 includes a single AA battery, simple power that fuels this light for up to 100 hours on its lowest mode. Simple household batteries, AAs are easy to stock up on in bulk for multiple hours of use with this headlamp. We recommend pairing this headlamp with Fenix's ARB-L14-2200U 1.5V lithium-ion battery, combining the AA size and voltage with the reliability of lithium-ion chemistry and rechargeable capability.
