The bright red LED even has constant-on or flashing outputs for versatile rescue signaling in an emergency. The HM55R is built smart, with a light 3.7oz weight signature and a tilting bracket that allows you to aim light where it's needed on-the-fly. When the lamp turns on when close to an obstruction, it's even equipped with a proximity-triggered downshift in brightness to save battery power and prevent overheating. Full-fledged IP68 weatherproofing ensures that this is a great lighting companion for active use outdoors.
Included Rechargeable Battery + Quick-Charge USB-C Port
Power is paramount when you bring lighting into the wild - for this reason, Fenix supplies you with a powerful rechargeable li-ion battery with runtimes reaching over 140 hours. The included 1600mAh 18350 cell is rechargeable via a USB-C port on the headlamp, so you can plug into power banks or USB adapters for a full charge in no time. You'll know when you need to recharge thanks to the onboard battery status indicators, and you can even use a non-rechargeable CR123A to power the light if you are away from a power source!
