Get ready for the reliable, go-anywhere lighting power of the Fenix HP12! This high powered headlamp features a CREE XM-L2 LED that is capable of emitting up to 900 Lumens of bright wight light using a unique burst mode. The HP12 is jam packed with power and safety features that make it perfect for outdoor adventures of all variety. A comfortable head band and positionally adjustable battery cartridge ensure that mobility is never a problem with this high quality lighting device. An easy to use multi-function switch is conveniently mounted on the front side of the light and gives access to a wide variety of lighting levels including the powerful 900 lumen burst mode.
Power Options
The HP12 is capable of being powered by either 2 primary CR123A batteries or a single rechargeable 18650. The batteries snugly fit in to a separate battery box mounted on the back of the head that provides excellent fore-aft balance as well as convenient battery storage. Besides the intense 900 lumen burst mode, the HP12 also has lower modes that can be used to either conserve power or to provide an appropriate amount of light for close up or indoor lighting. The 400 lumen high mode can run for up to 3 hours and 45 minutes, and the economy 10 lumen mode can last for up to 145 hours!
Built For Heavy Use
The star feature of the HP12 (aside from it's incredible 900 lumen burst mode) is the heavy duty durability features that make it an ideal light for outdoor use. The body of the light is crafted from an aircraft grade aluminum alloy, and has been hard anodized to prevent scratches, gouges and cosmetic damage. The light is IPX-8 Waterproof so it can be fully submerged up to 2 meters, and it is also freeze proof down to -40 degree weather. Thanks to sturdy construction and solid state LED technology the HP12 can be dropped from up to 2 meters without sustaining damage. This light is as big on durability as it is on power!
