Adding to the already packed H-Series line up, Fenix is introducing the HP40F headlamp, which is designed to be the perfect headlamp for fishermen. Featuring two dedicated light sources, one white and one blue, both with independent controls, the HP40F will let you fish confidently all night long without disturbing the fish. The HP40F features a full aluminum housing, a belt mounted battery box which reduces weight, and a USB output where you can power communication or navigation devices. Being constructed from rugged aluminum, the HP40F sheds heat faster as well as impacts. Being that the HP40F is IPX-6 water resistant, you won't have to worry if it gets splashed or it starts to rain while you are reeling in your biggest catch. If you plan on night fishing, the HP40F is the ONLY headlamp you will need!

Lighting Technology

White & Blue LEDs

The HP40F is fitted with two LEDs, a CREE XP-E2 (M3) blue LED and a CREE XP-G2 (R5) white LED. You can tilt the headlamp 60 degrees, giving you complete control as to what's in front of your or in the water. Outputting a maximum of 450 lumens from the XP-G2, while in Turbo mode, the HP40F will produce a beam distance of up towards 110 meters. Now, the blue XP-E2 LED will produce a max output of 50 lumens with 3000mW output, giving you enough subtle light to see and not startle the fish. Accessing the various output modes of both LEDs is done by the independent controls on the top of the headlamp. The digitally regulated output will maintain a constant brightness, so you'll get full power at all times.

Battery Fuel Gauge

Powering the HP40F are either four CR123A batteries or two 18650 cells. While on Low mode, the HP40F will run for up to 280 hours using the white XP-G2 LED and 32 hours using the blue XP-E2 LED. The belt-mounted battery box reduces the weight worn on the head and optimizes battery life in cold conditions. Speaking of battery life, the HP40F features a battery fuel gauge, so you can maintain power and runtime as you see fit. You will not have to worry about improperly inserting the batteries, as there is reverse polarity protection.Features:
