The 2017 upgrades are built atop a body that's already a bestseller. The LD12 operates with a dual switch arrangement: a tactical tail for the power button, and a side switch for its five modes. Activate momentary and constant-on with a half or full press of the tail, which is easy to use even if you're wearing gloves. Click the mode switch to cycle, or hold it to activate the disorienting strobe light. The LD12's tactical capabilities kick into full gear when you use its strike bezel to deliver a stunning blow to an assailant's temple.
