What makes it unique is that it has three colors of LEDs: white, red, and blue, and in one particular mode, the red and blue are combined for a flash effect. There are four brightness modes on the TK41C, and their lumen outputs are (white LED): 1000 lumens for Turbo; 350 lumens for high; 100 lumens for medium; and 15 lumens for low. The run times for these outputs are: 2h 30 min. for Turbo; 10h 20 min. for high; 39h 45 min. for medium; 240h for low. For the red LED, the lumen output is 25 lumens and it runs for 9h 30 min. The blue LED has an output rate of 30 lumens with a burn time of 5h 30 min. There is a flash mode on this Fenix light, where the red flash is 25 lumens, and the combination red/blue flash is 25/30 lumens. There is also a strobe function on the TK41C that has an output rate of 1000 lumens.

Will Dispel Darkness Extremely Well

The battery source for the TK41C is eight AA-sized batteries, with chemistries of either alkaline or Ni-MH (nickel-metal-hydride). The beam/throw distance is 480m across all modes, so you can illuminate your backyard, or the street you're walking on at night, for your sense of personal comfort and security. For the red and blue LEDs, the beam/throw distance is 25m, which will still light up a lot of the area around you. Fenix recommends this flashlight for outdoor use, particularly when camping or hunting, or as an emergency light for your car. The TK41C is a rugged flashlight, not only because it can be used outside, but also because it has an impact resistance of 1m. The beam angles for this flashlight are: 60° for the spill, and 5° for the spot.

Beautifully Blends Colored Light

Another unique feature of Fenix's TK41C is the dual switch operation--these are located on the body of the flashlight, and are able to control the different colored LED beams, with one switch controlling the white LED, and the other one controlling the red and blue lights.
