As a searchlight, the TK47 UE is one hell of a torch. It fires off an incredible 3200 lumens on just two 18650 batteries, outclassing many lights of similar size and fuel. Its deep reflector lets it throw a beam 408 meters. Let's put that in perspective: that's just a few yards shy of four and a half football fields, or over a quarter of a mile. The "orange peel" texture on its reflector scatters the beam just enough to give it some nice flood, eliminating the need to constantly point and re-point the beam. This wide-angle night vision allows your eyes to actually take in the full scene, making it easier to identify paths, objects, and hazards.

Nature Herself Can't Stop It

With so many outdoor applications, Fenix made sure the TK47 UE can stand up to Mother Nature's worst punishments. Its housing is milled from aircraft grade aluminum, and interlocks so perfectly that it earns the highest possible protection rating (IP68). This means it's dustproof, waterproof to 2 meters, and can be dropped from waist height with no effect on service.
