High-CRI and Brass Housing
The Folomov EDC-C1 is one of the tiniest AAA, EDC flashlights in our catalog that also has a high-CRI emitter. Measuring at less than 3 inches long, the EDC-C1 is designed for every day carry. The high-CRI Nichia E21A provides photo-realistic color rendering with a rating of 98+ and offering a 3000K color temperature. With a max turbo mode of 335 lumens and a 0.5 lumen moonlight mode, this flashlight hits all the points that are necessary for a good EDC light. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor illumination, the EDC C1 has brass exterior housing coated in an anti-oxidization finish to help maintain the beautiful brass color that is inherently present when you first open the package. This flashlight is powered by a single lithium-ion 10440 battery, sharing the same dimensions of a standard AAA battery, and comes with a battery that features a built-in micro-USB charging port so there is no need for specific battery chargers.
Special Modes
Despite the petite size of the Folomov EDC-C1, this light packs into it two different modes in addition to lockout mode and a countdown timer. Choose between Tactical or Illumination mode by clicking the tail switch 7 times to switch from one to the other. These two different modes access different features of the light. Tactical grants instant access to turbo or constant strobe. Illumination mode allows access to moonlight, beacon, and SOS modes in addition to the standard high, medium, and low outputs. The lockout function in the EDC C1 prevents accidental activation protecting the lithium-ion 10440 battery from losing power too quickly. The countdown timer is perfect for those looking to utilizing the tail stand capabilities of the EDC-C1 automatically turning the light on in 1 minute intervals and with the ability to add on time as seen fit by triple pressing the tail switch quickly.
