Great Light with shortfalls!
"This is a perfect bike light for meï½€ï½ Other than the mount broke pretty much instantly and now the LED indicator light never works anymore. . . . The beam and light output and runtime makes up for those shortfalls . . . . I bought some different mounts that will work fineï½€ï½. And the LED indicator light for will work sporadically so I know how much charge left. . . i've heard that Jetbeam customer service is terrible so I haven't wanted to find out ? Hope this helps!"

best value bike light by far, the mounting kit is not durable
"This is an amazing value, because you get the mounting kit, a very good flashlight, and an excellent 18650 battery all for around $50. My kids use these so they get a lot of abuse, and they handle it well. They have been banged around, left outside in the rain, and dropped at speed onto the pavement and the flashlights have all survived, despite some serious scrapes and dents. Unfortunately one of the reasons they need to take so much abuse is that the mounting kit falls apart. Eventually the flashlights start to pop off over bumps, or just fall off on their own, or the mounting bracket snaps off or cracks. So while the flashlight itself gets 5 stars, the mounting kit gets 2. I love the power management on these. First of all they are standard rechargeable 18650, so you can buy a spare and always have one charged. That is the right battery for the application, because you can go on an hour evening ride and not run out of juice. These things give out huge light, so you will be visible and will see where you are going. There is also a strobe function for maximum visibility, even during the day. The power indicator light is great so you know when to recharge them before they run out, and they can be recharged by USB so when you are travelling you don't need to bring along an recharger. Even when they are nearly dead, you can switch to strobe mode and it will continue to flash for hours, at a reduced setting, so you can keep a minimum level of visibility and safety. I have found my kids flashlight still flashing in the shed the next day after they left it on, so you don't have to worry about running out of light on a ride. All in all, these are great bike lights but just need a more durable mounting kit. As it is, I only get about 8 months out of the mounting kit but haven't lost a flashlight yet."

Good quality & performance, great price
"Well built, it's lasted several weeks so far on a bike, frequent use, with significant shock and vibration and shows no sign of wear. I don't have a way to measure the output so I can't say if it meets the advertised power, but it is plenty bright. My initial use has been as a rear running light for the bike, in strobe mode with a red lens. The best purpose-built alternatives were about 200 lumens, so this is way better. I'll soon get another for my main headlight. Can't beat the power for the price."

Almost an amazing light! Still worth the money. Fix the one defect and it will be awesome.
"The major defect of this light is that it can easily come on in a pocket or a bag. Too many times I had a dead light because the button will switch on inside my bag or pocket. I fixed this by making a button guard with capralactone, but I shouldn't have had to do that. The light is not quite as bright as advertized I think. The bike mount is pretty good. Overall worth the cost, but would be amazing if they fixed the button."

Jet beam light
"Well my first one quit working on me and was replaced free of charge. During this time I bought a second one for my other mountain bike. I found out to carry it in your pocket of pants can cause it to come on, as I felt my leg warming up. As far as the mount goes, your chances are 50/50 that the tightening nut won't strip on you. And I'd suggest getting the mount offered in accessories. Tonight I charged one light, then went to charge the second one and the charging indicator isn't lighting up. So who knows if it's charging. But hey what can you expect for a 37. 00 light on sale. I may op for a upgrade or just get a real mountain bike like from Nightrider."

Excellent light for cycling
"I've making all sorts of cycling lights over the years and noticed that the efficiency (battery life) was significantly better than it was only 3 years ago. I took a chance with this light and it is excellent for night time riding. I was going to be happy if I got 2+ hours of battery life in the middle setting and I wound up getting quite a bit more. . . I don't have an exact number since I was playing around with the high setting. I use to hose clamps to mount it on my handlebars. . . I don't trust the cheap plastic mounts. I like the battery life indicator. I wouldn't purchase this for an EDC light since the ON/OFF button can be pressed too easily when it is in your pocket. So far I like this and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for night time cycling. . . just keep in mind that you can out ride the useful distance in the mid range mode so cycle carefully and enjoy."

Nice Small Light - Not A Favorite
"Given the opportunity, I would have rated this light 3. 5. I have many lights to compare the BR10 GT to and frankly, I was a bit disappointed for Jetbeam lights are among my favorites. First the positives: 1] Very nice, small size with a nice finish, 2] The bicycle clip is sturdy and easy to remove, 3] The price is right, especially considering it comes with a Jetbeam battery and the light has a built in USB charger. Second the Negatives: 1] I do not believe the turbo output is 960 lumens, maybe 800. 2] The light output is heavily toward the yellow end of the spectrum that I found displeasing, 3] The light appears to have two control buttons, one round and the other triangular, but that is not the case. There is only one control button for all functions. The triangular button is not a button but actually a multicolored light that tells you how much battery power is left. That light is continuously activated when the light is on which I feel is a waste of battery power. Two or three seconds on would have sufficed or better yet, eliminate that triangular button. The power button I would have preferred to be a little larger. 4] I would have preferred that the light have four power modes and a beacon mode that I find useful."

"I bought this to see if it would be a good bike light, WOW this is a GREAT light for bike and for carry, a little large for an EDC but an amazingly bright light and very well made, I may buy a few more for gifts!"
