"Comfortable to carry, bright and even has a green laser for conference room presentations."
"This light is one of the best that I’ve ever owned. The user interface is excellent and you don’t have to go through a program to dial in the amount of light. I find it to be bright enough for any task and the strobe is adequate to disorient! I previously bought a Surefire Stiletto Pro 2 and after purchasing ithI was disappointed that I didn’t find this one first. For $90 this is the best out there. Trust me, I have owned many flashlights and this one by far is the best one for EDC PERIOD!"
"I mention in my 12/6 review that the strobe function is on the dial button. This is incorrect. It is actually on the tail switch and can be activated by a quick momentary double tap and hold for quick bursts of strobe or quick momentary tap then ""click on"" to lock the strobe in the on position without having to hold the tail switch down. Either way the lock out dial has to be off for strobe to function."
"I actually bought this by mistake. I thought I was buying the E26 UV with the black light but this showed up by my mistake. I'm glad I made that mistake because this flashlight is pretty good. I was looking for a replacement for my Arkfeld Pro UV+Laser. The Arkfeld is good but the beam throw is lacking. On paper the E26UV had twice the throw! But then the mistake showed up which was an even brighter E26 minus the UV but even more throw than the UV version! I'll take that over UV anytime. Plus I still have my Arkfeld if I need a black light. This light is what you get if a Nitecore EDC27 and a Arkfeld had a baby. I have the EDC27 also but found the controls to complicated and time consuming to use in the field. Plus if you forget to lock out the edc27, and it activates in your pocket on high or turbo you'll seriously burn a hole in your pocket and possibly get burned in the process. But back to the E26. The controls are similar to an Arkfeld but adds a lock out on the dial and a tail switch. If they removed the tail switch and added a magnet to the rear like an arkfeld this would be ideal for me. On the dial you have lock out, flashlight, flashlight plus green laser (Not sure what I'd use this feature for yet. Maybe pointing something out in the dark?) and green laser only. Flashlight brightness is adjusted by holding down the dial button. Strobe is activated by a quick double tap to the dial button. This is roughly the same size as an ed27 (Slightly thicker) but longer and slightly thicker than an arkfeld. All in all a wonderful flashlight but now I just picked up an EDC23 which is a mini EDC27 but has a dedicated lockout switch that I'm loving and is quite a bit smaller than an EDC27 and E26! All in all the E26 is a great light and I'm sure you won't be disappointed with either model. I'm probably going to pick up the UV model as well since yes, I'm a bit of a flashlight hoarder and I like to bring light to the darkness!"
"I almost purchased another brand of flat flashlight, but I discovered the Jetbeam E26 after some research. The search turned up Battery Junction website and I checked out the specs. This light had all the features I wanted. The light has a glass lens, green laser pointer, and flashlight mode. I didn’t want a UV light, and the lockout mode is right on the rotary dial- no holding down buttons for 5 seconds to undo the lockout mode. This light is very well built and looks cool. One of the best features is no magnetic tail cap. I hate this because I work in a metal shop and those filings always wind up on the magnet and are a pain to keep clean so they don’t poke you in the fingertip. It has a great tactical tail cap that does turbo mode only. I was completely surprised by this light and how much I like it. You don’t feel it in your pocket at all. You can even reverse the superb pocket clip for your preferred carry type. I would buy this light again in a heartbeat."
