Comes on with sideways pressure.
"Returned mine because it would come on in my pocket. Applying sideways pressure on the flashlight would make it come on."

Keep an exceptionally powerful source of illumination always at hand with the Jetbeam Jet-II MK LED Flashlight, one of the most compelling combinations of potent power and compact construction available. Less than 3 inches long and weighing just over an ounce, this pint-sized light can easily fit in your front pocket or in your handbag for on-demand illumination whenever you need it. Despite its modest size, the Jet-II MK can generate up to 510 Lumens of brightness that can throw as far as 138 meters using its sophisticated CREE XP-L HI LED, putting it in the top tier of EDC lights. Powered by either a single CR123A or a 16340 battery, the potent EDC comes with 3 dimmer outputs ranging from 100 Lumens down to just 0.5 Lumens, giving its user lighting options for any scenario. The powerful light is operated using an easy twist interface, tightening the head of the light to activate it and increase its brightness, and loosening it to lower the brightness and to deactivate it.
The Jet-II MK is designed with the user's convenience as the top priority, going far beyond just its compact size. The tiny illuminator is designed to be as durable as it is powerful, crafted from hard-anodized aircraft-grade aluminum and featuring a sturdy mineral glass lens to keep its LED safe. The light's rugged construction gives it impressive impact and water resistance, capable of even being submerged under 2 meters of water without damage, making it safe to use in just about any environment. The Jet-II MK's head is designed with a special diamond knurling that helps provide a secure grip and allows for easy one-hand operation. Even the light's tailcap is specially designed to benefit the user, featuring a number of lanyard holes for more convenient carrying and tail-stand capability for hands-free candle lighting when needed.

"Returned mine because it would come on in my pocket. Applying sideways pressure on the flashlight would make it come on."
"I received my Jet Beam lite several days ahead of schedule. What a Great little lite with 4 different powers. I had a CR123 that I installed to no great avail. The CR123 was previously used and I could only get to 'moonlight'. So disappointed. I then purchased two rechargeable Jet Beam 16340s. WOW OH WOW what a difference! How cool to plug that tiny battery into my PC USB port. First they show a red warning lite that it is being charged. About 1-2 hours later the lite changed to green for a full charge. Then I installed one. When I twist the rim for high power 4, it is an outstandingly brilliant lite. Nothing left to be desired from this excellent light (I know how to spell)."
"I love this little light. It's super bright and the pocket clip is perfect. You'll forget you are carrying it until you need it. Highly recommend."
"The barrel end that the light comes out of must be turned to turn the flashlight on and off. Doing so quickly also changes the light intensity—4 on/off cycles to get to maximum brightness. I miss the push-button design of earlier flashlights I have had. With these you merely hold the button in (depressed) to cycle to the appropriate brightness. Also, the brightness last used (on previous flashlights) is the brightness you get when turning the flashlight on again. This is convenient. The JetBeam always starts in the lowest power (moonlight) setting. Another convenience I miss is the one-handed control of the earlier flashlights. The JetBeam must be held by one hand while turning the barrel with the other hand. It CAN be done with one hand, but feels awkward and slow when doing it this way. The JetBeam doesn't easily turn on accidentally in the pocket. Button controlled flashlights do this more frequently. The JetBeam attaches to my keyring easily and securely. The Olight that the JetBeam replaces had a very small hole in the end of it to do this, but it didn't work well or easily owing to the small hole size. The Olight was lost/dropped because of the poor keyring attachment hole. Otherwise, this flashlight is less expensive and serves the purpose."
"I carry this light every day. Its awesome."
"I love my flashlight, bright enough to cut through the dark, small enough to fit anywhere"
"Very small and good lumens for its size-- definitely every day carry flashlight"
"I'm running it on a RCR123A and this throws some crazy light. It heats up quickly but that is to be expected. I am impressed."
"First off the build quality and price point is fantastic. First deal breaker for me is the lack of mode memory. You have to cycle through from ultra-low to high each time. Annoying considering it's a twist head Second is the pocket clip, It is just to weak and short to keep the light from falling out of your pocket. All is really does is stop the light from dropping deeper INTO your pocket."
"Great little pocket light with the power of much larger lights. One disadvantage is the twist-front activation and deactivation, and having to sequence through 4 stages until reaching maximum brightness."
