The JetBeam JL260 is strongly impact-resistant because of its nickel-plated stainless steel pieces located within the battery; there is also a steel protected circuit board (PCB) inside. This battery has triple overheat protection that is designed to comprehensively guard the battery against any possible overheating issues that might occur. This JL260 and its 500 charge-and-recharge cycles are about equal to the energy and power of 1000 individual CR123A primary batteries. Other types of protection on this product include: PTC cathodal block protection; microporous protection; and pressure relief valve protection--all of these components help to keep your battery functioning efficiently and effectively in whatever device you drop it into, for added security and stability of the product.

"After 7 years or so of ownership and not properly maintaining my batteries I was loosing performance. I had misplaced the factory Jet Beam charger. So I purchased new Jet Beam batteries. Though this light is old and less than 4,000 Lumens. It slightly outperforms a new FiTorch rated at 10,000 Lumens. Jet Beam batteries and Jet Beam light. Winning combination."

"The battery is 69. 5 mm long so that makes it usable in most devices without a problem. Not too long and not too short. I found it did not last as long as my Nitecore or Olight 18650s at 2600 mah though. It seemed more along the lines of a 2300 mah battery at best."
