Nice light

Crafted with military level quality and designed to fit a wide range of lighting needs, the JETBeam SF-R26 Rechargeable LED Flashlight is a high-performance torch perfect for just about any user. Armed with a state-of-the-art CREE XP-L HI LED, this potent illuminator is capable of generating up to 1200 lumens of stunning white light that can reach over 1200 feet away (that's over 4 football fields). In addition to its highest output, the JETBeam SF-R26 rechargeable light also features three dimmer outputs more suitable for close to mid-range lighting, ranging from 250 lumens down to 10 lumens, and even comes with a special Strobe output that can be used to disorient an attacker.
The JETBeam SF-R26 flashlight is operated by using a straightforward dual switch interface, including a tactical tail cap switch to turn the light on and off and a side switch to access all five of its outputs. The side switch also doubles as a power indicator, flashing slowly and then quickly to display when the light's charge is getting low and your batteries need replacing. This rechargeable flashlight is capable of being powered by either a pair of CR123A batteries or by a single Li-ion 18650 battery. When equipped with an 18650, the JETBeam SF-R26 rechargeable flashlight can be recharged internally thanks to its convenient micro-USB charging port located on its side.
The JETBeam SF-R26 rechargeable flashlight is crafted from durable aero-grade aluminum alloy and is coated with a military-grade hard-anodized finish, making it resistant to scratches, mild impacts, and even powerful jets of water. The handheld torch uses a toughened mineral glass lens that not only protects the LED but allows for optimal light transmittance. The JETBeam SF-R26 flashlights body is designed with specialized thermal fins, which help dissipate the heat generated from extensive use and even features overheat protection that will decrease the brightness of the light when it gets too hot to prevent damage to both it and its battery. "I purchased sf-r26 during Black Friday sale. The price was great during the sale. The beam on the light is nice and tight has good throw. I highly recommended this light for everyone"
"These are so reasonable I purchased 3 for when we go camping we all have flashlights on our sides. On medium these JETBeam SF-R26 last over 11 hours. And what is really nice when we get home we charge them on the computer using USB, just one of the options. For the price buy a few. No disappointments with these for price is low and quality is high, now that is a great combination. All 3 are over 1 year old and have been in water, mud, dropped, and abused. All still operate excellent"
"Far and away the nicest light I've owned. It is bigger than some, but the size and weight fit my hand nicely. The rear switch makes it easier to control than single button models. Super bright, with good battery life. The chosen brightness levels seem just perfect for my applications. This has immediately become my favorite 'carry it everywhere' flashlight. The bad news is that the supplied 18650 battery was DOA. Completely, absolutely dead. It read as an open circuit on my meter with not a single electron going in or out. I replaced it with a higher capacity Nitecore 18650 I had and all is well. I wish it came with a case or sheath of some kind."
"Finally, a good light with an on/off switch separate from the modes. Always hated cycling through the modes, now I can go straight to off and on. Strong powerful beam with the convenience of a rechargeable battery. Very nice."
"This is a great flashlight for the money. I got it when it was on sale. It is very bright and I love the beam pattern. Everything what I need from a Tactical flashlight. Thanks Battery Junction!"
"I am so glad I purchased this light. It is extremely bright and very well made. It is small enough to carry comfortably yet has the lumens of a much larger light."
"Excellent flashlight, bright, easy handling and convenient recharging capabilities. A must have."
"Well built and very bright. It's a good product to have around during an emergency."
"Although this is a little bigger than an EDC light, this flashlight is awesome. Small enough to put in or clip on the pocket or belt, and has best beam through of any flash I own at this time. Had to buy a second one because my son liked mine so we;ll. Great job Jet beam on the SF-R26, well made flashlight. For the price you can;t go wrong with this light."
"I just received this light from Battery Junction. The sale price ($41) induced me to grab this one (like I need another flashlight, lol, anybody else share this addiction?) The one thing I see right out of the box and when I took it outside last night for a test was that the throw on this light is noticeably longer than most other lights in its class. Very tight beam. Very nice. I think this is partially due to the higher output of this LED, but mostly due to reflector design. I have a Nitecore MH12 which is my main user light, and I love that light & rely on it. This Jetbeam does surpass it in performance and has a similar control scheme - tail switch and side button. The Nitecore has ascending power steps and the Jetbeam descends. The Nitecore has an SOS mode and a slow flash beacon (about one flash per second) which I've never seen on any other light. It would be nice if Jetbeam and the other manufacturers incorporated that feature. Yes, it does have mode memory, and momentary-on, two features that are highly desired for my use. I do a lot of walking around the interiours of big dark buildings and I don't want the full 1200 lumens or 1000 lumens to come on when I go to check a dark room - it would be too much power, so the mode memory comes in there. I also do not want to have to click the switch every time I need brief light. I actually wore out the switch on a rather expensive Coast light several years ago that way. So, momentary on gives the user a way to prevent constantly clicking the switch (partially depress the tail switch so the light comes on, but not far enough to click it on- then you release it and the light goes off). The deal I got came with a Li-Ion battery, but not a holster. This doesn't bother me as I have a bunch of Ultra Fire and Jet Beam holsters. Ironically, the Jet Beam ones are too small for this light. The Jet Beams are far better holsters than the somewhat cheapo Ultra Fires, and Battery Junction sells the Jet Beams for an incredible price. Look up the dimensions of the Jet Beam lights they are made for and then compare it to the dimensions of your light in order to choose the right size. The only problem I've had with Jet Beam was the switch failed on one of the 2AA models I have. Luckily, it failed in turbo mode, so I can still use the light - but it really eats batteries in that mode. That's another story and another light. The finish on the SF-R26 is a nice black. Machining looks great (as it does on most of the big-name Chinese lights). This has a nice pocket clip with a loop on it, so I put a 1/2 inch split ring in that loop as well as another in the tailcap ring/lanyard hole. The lanyard it comes with is, in my opinion, attached by a way too light, thin loop of nylon which will eventually break. I always attach a split ring and use a heavy duty neck lanyard to retain my light while I'm working, ever since I dropped the agency issued Surefire several years ago about a week into having it, putting some unwanted 'character' in the bezel rim (the Surefire still worked). Comes with the usual extra parts kit - o-rings, etc. If the switch(es) doesn't fail, it's a great light."
