"I purchased the JETBeam WL-S2 Outdoor Flashlight for General use. I use it with 18650 battery but you may also use (2) 123 batteries. Quality is high and I have dropped this flashlight many times on cement and it still works like new. It looks terrible but keeps on going. If you want a bright (1080 Lumens) flashlight for a budget price that can take a beating this is the one. Folks buy this light. You will not be disappointed."
"Well made and engineered. Fits my needs. Too bad it is discontinued"
"Awesome light very bright. I like the tail switch and the side switch. I wish that the side switch would do all the functions of the tail switch, you can not turn the light off with the side switch, it just goes to the lowest setting."
"Lots to like here. I love a light with lots of modes (brightness levels), and this JetBeam has 5, spaced very nicely. From a super low 1 lumen to 1080 - you can easily taylor the brightness to any task at hand. Uses either 188650’s or 123’s for long life and versatility. Has a built-in battery strength indicator light in the mode switch. Nice feature. Beam is very clean with a slight center hot spot. This beam is a wider flood type - very useful for everyday tasks. Light is rock solid and fit/finish is flawless. I got a SUPER deal on this from battery junction, but it is easily worth full price. Great light for house, car, bedside, camping, walking, self defense."
"The compact size belies it's capability. The contact spring for the batteries could be stronger because sometimes the light output will drop out. But because of the separate mode switch, when the light comes back on, it will not be in some spastic flashing mode. Also, because of the flashlights small size, the pocket clip it comes with makes the holster generally un-neccessary. The selectable light outputs are well chosen and the highest selection is so bright that it is not desired very often. The light color (color rendition index) is very good, not blue like some flashlights. The spare seals are a nice touch. For the price, this light is amazing! If I could only have one flashlight, this would be it."
"I bought this light to use when we take the dog out at night. It really lights up the entire back yard! Very versatile - plenty of light when you need it, but you can dim it down so you don’t wake your partner while getting dressed in the morning."
"This flashlight is just the right size! It’s user friendly, bright, and lightweight. I Love this light!!"
"This jetbeam wl-s2 is a great flashlight. Plenty of modes to choose from."
"Still a lot of money for a flashlight but should last forever."
"This is a decent light at a decent price. Good power and throw but too short a battery life compared to others in it's class."
