Klarus has gone ahead and updated their CH4 smart charger. We now have the CH4S, Klarus' first 4-bay multi-battery charger with individual display functions of voltage, charging progress, and capacity. The CH4S is able to charge a multitude of battery chemistries, such as LiFePO4, Li-Ion, NiMh, and NiCd batteries. Don't worry if you insert the batteries incorrectly, as the built-in reverse polarity protection and short-circuit protection will prevent from damaging the charger. The star of the show here goes to the LCD display, which will update every second to keep you in the loop on the charging process. Constructed from durable ABS plastic, which is fire retardant and flame resistant, the CH4S is designed for optimal heat dissipation, providing you with a long life span. Short charging time???
"Bought this charger to charge my Fenix Li-ion 3. 6V, 12. 6Wh, 18650s (ARB-L18-3500) for my TK75 2015 Edition. . I only discharged about 25% of the batteries charge (not sure if this charger tells me this info, need to read directions better) and decided to see how this charger worked ( How fast is it). I used all 4 ports recharging the 18650s from the TK75 and it took at least 2 hours to recharge these batteries that had lost at the most 25% of their charge (see: need to read directions better), the charger got a little warmer then I would have liked, but not to hot to touch or hold. This was the batteries first recharge, so that may have had something to do with the long charge time."
