Introducing the FL1A from Klarus, a multicolor LED flashlight that provides a multitude of outputs in a small and durable package. Measuring in at just over 3.5", the FL1A is the perfect every-day-carry to have when you're camping, hiking, or emergency signaling. A special diffuser allows for floodlight illumination, making night hiking or lighting up a campsite easier than ever. Use the Green mode for reading a map, the Red mode to signal for help, or the alternating Red/Green flashing mode as a safety signal for outdoor activities. The UV mode works great for verifying identification, money or even better, spotting scorpions.Lighting Technology
CREE XP-G2 LED
Fitted with a CREE XP-G2 LED, the FL1A is able to crank out 65 lumens, when in High mode. The greatest feature definitely would have to be the various modes the FL1A outputs, ranging from White, Red, Green, Ultra Violet, flashing Red/Green, Strobe, and finally SOS. Accessing the modes is done by using the convenient side switch, which is much easier than using a rotary switch. Simply depress the side switch for 1.5 seconds to activate the light and short presses will cycle between modes. Mode memory will return you to the previous mode the next time you turn the light on, so there are no surprises.Power
Single AA Battery
The FL1A is powered by a single AA battery, which can be found here at Battery Junction or just about any local supermarket. Reverse polarity protection will guard you against improper battery installation, which is super convenient. Equipped with a constant current circuit, the FL1A will prevent flickering when the batteries are low, providing you with a smooth experience. The lightweight FL1A is constructed from aero-grade aluminum alloy with a military-grade hard-anodized finish, so it can withstand impacts up to 1.5 meters and is IPX-8 waterproof.
