Better choices out there

"I ordered 3 different penlights, 3 price points and 3 manufacturers. Pricewise this was right in the middle, lumen wise is was also in the middle and had the least features of the 3. The on/off switch is loose and doesn’t feel “quality” and the UI you would think is should be pretty straightforward but the memory feature for me is a detriment. I know this is a personal perspective but I don’t want to have my lights come on unexpectedly at the highest setting because I forgot the last time I used it I powered off at the highest setting. However, after only about 1. 5 minutes on high, the light gets extremely hot. I’m not talking about the business end of the light which I would expect but the entire light?! Not useful at all if you can’t hold it without gloves on!"

Nice Pen Light

"This is a handy little pen light when needed. Would recommend!"

Marc (4/5)

Good size, firm clickie

"The clickie switch is very nice. It has a firm and positive feeling to the metal tipped button. The beam is all flood, but the brightness is evenly spread throughout. The tint of the beam (warm, as opposed to cool white) gives true colors to objects you are lighting up. The LOW setting is a bit on the bright side to look directly into. I think shining it into someone's eyes to examine them, might cause some discomfort. The knurling is aggressive but not necessarily where it needs to be. The knurling is underneath the pocket clip. It would be more useful to have some knurling closer to the center and bezel for a better grip because the metal is slippery. The pocket clip is very secure. It is removable from the light only by removing the clickie and O-ring. It is not the type of pocket clip that can easily be slipped on and off the body of the light. Runtimes are slightly less than advertised with Duracells and even less with Eneloops."

Unique and versatile led penlight.

"My first review here @ Battery Junction. The Klarus P20 has a high build quality as evidenced upon first handling. . . It has a stainless bezell with an unusual 'honeycomb'optic lens Coupled with the neutral tint Nichia led it emits a pleasant, diffused beam. Not meant to be a thrower such as the Nitecore Mt 06 with an R2. It has 3 well spaced brightness levels. I find the 4 lumen low especially useful for reading in bed. Memory mode is icing on the cake. A winner in my book."
