The Klarus RS18 is a rechargeable LED flashlight that has several features that make it stand out from the crowd. First of the light is rechargeable, with an easy to use magnetic mounted charging method that makes charging a battery in the light a simple chore. The RS18 has remarkable output for a light of its size, reaching a maximum of 900 Lumens, with a beam distance of roughly 165 Meters! This light also features a powerful glass breaker that is mounted to the tail cap that has a variety of uses including self defense. On top of all that, these features are wrapped up in a slim style compact light that is perfect for an every day carry.

The most noticeable feature of this light is the large studded glass breaker on the tail cap. This large hunk of stainless steel is designed to be able to break through thick glass in emergency situations such as car crashes, fires or earthquakes. The glass breaker can also be used for self defense purposes in a pinch. Having a tool that requires powerful impacts means that this light needs to be tough, and the body made of hard anodized aluminum can handle any sort of impacts that are sent its way. Additionally the solid state LED and ultra tough glass lens are designed to withstand a remarkable amount of punishment.

Power Options

The RS18 has a wide variety of power options. The light comes with an included Klarus brand 18650 that can be charged inside the light. Any 18650 that has a protection circuit can also be used and charged within the light. There are two ways to charge your battery with the RS18, either the quick attach magnetic cord or by a standard pin connector cord. If 18650s are not available or if your battery suddenly runs dry, primary CR123As can be used instead (Just don't try to charge them!).
