The Klarus RS20-UV is a unique and powerful ultraviolet flashlight capable of shining a revealing UV light. This light features a Nichia 365nm UV LED that emits the same spectrum of ultraviolet light used by police and crime scene investigators to view otherwise invisible bodily fluids, drug residue and currency identification. For additional utility the RS20-UV has an additional side light that is capable of emitting not only white light, but red, green and blue as well. Multiple output modes and colors make the RS20-UV a versatile light for investigations as well as everyday use.

Magnetic Charging Connector

The RS20-UV is a fully rechargeable flashlight, and can be directly attached to USB port to internally charge a li-ion 18650 battery. The light features Klarus's signature magnetic charging connector that is quick, easy and safe to use. The light also comes equipped with a custom Klarus 2600mAh 3.7V 18650 battery that can be inserted either way thanks to its unique contact design. If you are looking for a flashlight that is good on the go, the RS20-UV also comes standard with a car charger that can be used in any vehicle.

Aircraft Grade Aluminum Construction

Much like the original RS20, this flashlight maintains several structural features that make it highly durable in the field. The body of this light is crafted from aircraft grade aluminum that is both lightweight and strong, and can withstand moderate impacts without sustaining severe damage. This light is great in all weather as well and is rated IPX-8 Waterproof, and it is in fact submersible up to 2 meters! The RS20-UV also features a stainless steel bezel ring that protects the glass lens from potential drop damage.
