The XT11X not only wields immense power, it also sports one of the most innovative and user-friendly interfaces of any tactical torch. Designed with two different methods of operation: a simple side switch better suited for normal everyday applications and a dual tail-cap switch tailored for tactical operations. Both methods grant access to all of the flashlight's output modes, including its blinding strobe and efficient S.O.S. modes for emergency situations. The XT11X grants instant access to both Strobe, Low Mode and allows momentary activation for brief bursts of light.
The intelligent interface isn't the only feature that makes the XT11X user-friendly. Designed with a handy micro-USB charging port the included IMR 18650 charges internally, so there's no need for a separate designated charger! Charging progress can be easily monitored thanks to the multi-color LED indicator built directly into the flashlight's side switch, glowing red while charging and green once charging is complete. The LED indicator can even be used to check up on the XT11X's remaining charge while in use so you're never blindsided by a dead battery!

In order to achieve its max output, the XT11X must be equipped with the included IMR 18650. "Received light, charged it fully as per instruction. I use it every night for about 5-10 minutes. It worked great for about 2 days. Now it will not go above the next to the lowest brightness setting, and yes, I am using the included battery, so it is the correct capacity. For this kind of money I expect better quality. I thought I was buying a high quality light. Waiting on my RMA now."

"Love the direct access the multiple control buttons give you. No hunting for the turbo or strobe modes and place on the tail cap for tactical use. This light also has incredible power for its size with good runtimes make it useful practically. When you get the light you will need to open the battery compartment and remove the paper tab blocking battery contact. If you get a yellow error light when you go to initially charge it, that could be the reason."

"This would get 5 stars except for the overly complex switches/modes. This is a nice bright flashlight however the 3 switches and all the different modes and sub modes are absurdly complex. There is no need for different user modes with differing functions for each switch in each mode (including half presses for some buttons as well as 1-second, 2-second, and 5 second holds and multiple rapid presses of some switches in certain modes). There is no way someone will be able to remember all these 40+ different ways to get at basically 5 brightness settings plus strobe and SOS. With three switches you could have one switch to turn the light on and off, one switch to cycle through the various brightness levels, and the third switch to access strobe and SOS functions. The image attached is an example of how complex the switching is for just one of the modes for this light."
"Definitely not worth saving a few bucks and going with open box. Lots of damage was present to the rear tail switch that came with this unit. So much so that I’ll have to file it off to be smooth again or spend more money to buy its replacement than what I saved by going with the open box discount. It should’ve said “heavily used. ”"
"This light, for the money, is a monster with 3200 lumens that will run for about 40 minutes. That's stupid crazy. Yep, one is able to pay a bit more and get the Klarus XT12X (abt. $30) and get abt. 800 more lumen, but when you are working with 3200 vs 4000 the difference is small. The recharge in the body is nice. The button memory is great. A solid torch to light up your world."
