Lighting Technology

CREE LED

Fitted with the latest CREE XM-L2 LED, the XT15 Falcon is able to churn out a blinding 1020 lumens, with a maximum beam distance of up to 355 meters. To break that down, that is just under four football fields. You can thank the smooth, deep reflector with its super hotspot for the ultra-long beam distance. Accessing the various outputs is done by simply using the one-handed, dual-switch user interface located on the tailcap. There you will be able to cycle between modes, as well as have instant access to strobe, regardless if the light is on or off. The XT15 Falcon will output 1020 lumens when on High mode, 230 lumens on Mid mode, and finally 17 lumens on Low mode.

Power

Rechargeable

Powering the XT15 Falcon are either two Lithium CR123A batteries or a single rechargeable Li-Ion 18650. The best part about this tactical beast, is it includes Klarus' patented self-locating, magnetic fast-connection charging system. There is no need to remove the battery, as you simply attach the connector to the side-port and charge the battery internally, from any USB powered source. The charging port doubles as a battery indicator light, displaying a red ring of light to indicate charging is in progress, and a green ring when fully charged. The magnetic connector features short-circuit protection, which will protect the light and the battery when charging. Also, you don't have to worry about which way to insert the battery, as there is reverse polarity protection, so no more fumbling around with the battery.Please Note: Only Klarus' custom 18650 with its unique contacts can be charged within the light. DO NOT charge button-top and flat-top 18650 batteries the light.Features:
