"This little guy is a BEAST! Tiny size, HUGE output! Only negatives are its short beam throw distance (its a tiny light) and that it's power hungry, so buy a few extra 16340's to do some 'reloads' when the juice runs dry. This little flashlight puts bigger lights to SHAME, it has become my new EDC light paired with a GLOCK 43X and a KERSHAW BLUR TANTO"

"This is truly a small and lightweight flashlight that can be carried everywhere in a pocket. For it's size, the power is really outstanding. 1000 lumens in a light that fits in a pocket-what more could you ask for? And then there is the INCLUDED USB rechargeable battery that comes with it's own recharging cord. This really is a complete package that I purchased to use as my EDC light. I liked it enough that I just ordered 2 more for gifts!"
"Though I was hesitant to buy the newer model (some 'lower specs') having purchased the original, I'm quite happy: I like the color rendition, beam spread, and features: a partial press of the on/off tail switch will illuminate until released; a LED that indicates power remaining; an easier method of switching from/to tactical to outdoor (but similar to the original). I'm also happy with the increase in length."

"Purchased the 1000 lumen Klarus XT1C to replace my 453 lumen EagleTac D25C for EDC. The XT1C is larger than the EagleTac, but I thought the tactical 2 button tail switch and higher lumens output would compensate for the larger size. The first XT1C I received I couldn't get to turn on. The second XT1C I received seemed to be dead out of the box too until I removed and replaced the head several times and got a blink out of it. I found my XT1C's head had to be cranked VERY tightly to operate at all. I consider this a manufacturing/QC defect. I like the 2 button tail switch which gives me direct access to the strobe for a tactical encounter. I believe the published '1000 lumens' is very questionable. I estimate this example of an XT1C has an actual output of about 700 lumens, when compared to my other 1000 lumens flashlights. The most disappointing aspect of my XT1C is that the beam noticeably FLICKERS. Not good. Due to these shortcomings I cannot recommend this model."
"I've been looking for a smaller light to carry around daily and found this one to be just what I needed. It's as bright as many of my tactical lights, but doesn't take up too much room in my pocket. I hate when lights don't come with batteries, so this was a real plus for me as well."
