Fitted with a CREE XP-G2 LED nestled in the center of a textured orange peel reflector, this light provides a wide flood beam for viewing details up close without washing them out with light that is too intense and instead blankets your target with lumens that are easier on the eyes. Utilizing the tactical tail switches makes operations a whole lot easier. Simply slightly press the circular tail switch for momentary on or press it all the way for constant on. To cycle through output modes, push the slimmer tail switch. Get all the way from 7 lumen Low mode to 280 lumen High mode which can run for up to 1.5 hours. A handy 280 lumen Strobe mode can also be activated using the mode switch for 3 hours, which is more than enough time to cause some serious queasy-ness.

The XT2A is made from tough aerospace grade aluminum with a military specification Type III hard anodizing that resists scratches and abrasions. The precision knurling around the mid section and the tail cap provide for a comfortable grip as well as making replacing batteries and upgrading tail caps easier. Lanyard loops around the tail cap itself offer a more versatile option for portability, while the dual tail cap design makes switching modes and powering on the XT2C seamless.
