"As someone in the HVAC industry, I've been pushed to get a name brand multimeter at double or more the price of this one. I need to be able to test capacitors, check temperatures, use an amp clamp to check current draw, check for open circuits and shorts to ground, and continuity in thermostat wiring. For around $100, this meter does it all. You might be able to get another feature or two for another hundred or two, but this works fine for me."
