"Spent a lot of time dealing with the tabs being 15° or so out of alignment with each other which was a real pain, but I couldn’t find other retailers selling this battery with pre-attached tabs so I made it work even if I’m not jazzed about the result"

"The battery in my Wahl travel trimmer died and I was looking for a replacement. I couldn't find the model listed in the title and had to search around. Although 14500 batteries are easy to come by, I needed one with tabs since the battery is soldered in. This Tenergy cell fit the bill, although I had to trim the tabs for length (which I expected) and the width (which I did not expect, but was easy enough to do). The trimmer has been working fine for over a month now, like brand new! Important to note is that this battery does not have integrated battery management, so you should only use it in applications where the PCB you're soldering into has battery management. The Wahl trimmer I have does (I looked up the model numbers on the chips that were installed on the PCB and verified this, Google should be able to help you. Note that often, manufacturers will supersede part numbers so you may not find your exact chips number but your search will still return results for battery management components)."

"I purchased 6 of these to rebuild a battery pack for a Dremel tool. The original pack took 6 NiCad cells, 2 sets of 3 in series (1. 2v x 3 = 3. 6v), so I rebuilt it with 2 sets of 3 in parallel (3. 7v). The surgery was a success and my Dremel tool is working like brand new! I recommend extreme caution and experience when doing a build like this. Lithium Ion batteries are unforgiving if you accidentally short them out, even briefly. NiCad and NiMH won't injure you if short them out."

"Bought a batch of these to use in a solar power application. Chose this name brand in the hopes that they were honest on the capacity. They are not. I tested all of the batteries multiple cycles (4. 2V-2. 7V at 25-100mA current) and found the capacity to be about 350mAh (less than half of the rated capacity!). Input power for a full charge was about 650mAh, Has anyone else tested the capacity of these batteries?"
